Puddleducks Nursery & Pre-School

Our staff have enhanced DBS clearance, First Aid, safeguarding, promoting positive behaviour, and food hygiene training. We work to ratios of 8 children to 1 adult, offering approximately 22 after-school places per day. 

After-School Club 

This operates in the main hall or year 2 classroom, if the hall is in use, and runs from 3:15pm - 6:00pm. Children are escorted to the club by their respective teachers, where they are settled and enrolled by the club staff.

A timetable of activities are planned each term, which can include: Outside physical play, board games, arts and crafts, computing, quiet reading, homework (activities are optional).

The children sit down to packed teas from home or snacks at 4:00pm. We also offer cooked teas at an additional charge of £2.54 per meal. This includes a main meal, as well as a dessert. These menu options follow those of Puddleducks (please see our Cooked Meals page for further information). Meals will be cooked at Puddleducks and delivered to After-School Club in suitable heat retaining containers.​

£4.57 per/hour, or £13.71 for three hours

The clubs are based at Pewsey Primary school. We work closely with the school to offer fun sessions, where children across all school years can participate in organised activities both inside and outside.

School Club

Breakfast Club ​

This operates in the main hall, and runs between 8:00am - 8:45am (Breakfast served between 8:00am - 8:30am). At 8:45am, the children are taken to their respective classes. Any parental messages or medication forms are handed over to the teachers at that time.

Price includes either: Cereal (Wheetabix, Cheerios, Rice Krispies), toast, waffles or fruit.​
